Abstract: In order to screen Indian pumpkin varieties suitable for cultivation in Fuzhou, 24 Indian pumpkin varieties were introduced and their phenological period, botanical characteristics, commercialization and high yield were comprehensively evaluated. The results showed that Xianpin, Duanmanjinghongli B, Weijia and Kuanmanjinglvli performed well in high-yield performance, significantly increasing yields by 26.90%, 24.66%, 14.61%, and 13.67% compared with the control Yipin, and are suitable for popularization and planting in Fuzhou. Among them, Duanmanjinghongli B not only has outstanding high yield, but also has the characteristics of good earliness, bright peel color, and good farinaceous taste, so it can be used as the main variety. Due to its outstanding farinoic characteristics, Beibei varieties can be supplemented and planted as special varieties to meet differentiated consumption needs.
