Abstract:
1887 soil samples from paddy field were collected and analyzed. The results showed that the proportion of samples with organic matter and available nitrogen contents above medium level occupied by 91% and 78.22% respectively, the available phosphorus content at medium level was 56.92%, the available potassium content at deficient level was 77.85%. And exchangeable calcium and available zinc were at abundant level, available sulfur was at middle-low level, exchangeable magnesium was lack, available boron was severe lack. According to the fertility status of paddy field in Shunchang County, fertilization in middle rice cropping season should stabilize nitrogen and phosphorus application, increase potassium amount, supplement medium and trace elements and popularize planting milk vetch and returning straw back to field.
