Abstract: Red tide is one of the main disasters for the ocean culture system, which frequently occurs in the fishing culture area with cage, and causes high mortality of the aquaculture animals including abalone. In this study, occurrence regularity for red tide in concentrative abalone-culturing area in recent years was summarized. The death reason for abalone caused by red tide was also analyzed, and the corresponding prevention and control measures were put forward.
