Abstract: Effect of different planting pattern, stage and density of okra on its yield and gross weight yield in the model of intercropping of young soybean with okra were studied. The results showed that the optimum stage for planting okra was during April 15 th and May 1 st, the planting pattern for okra was seedling transplantation, and the density was at 3000~4000 plants/667 m², respectively. By taking above comprehensive measures, both yield and commodity rate of okra were higher and had no significant influence on the yield of young soybean.
