Abstract: Basic situation and running condition of family farms in Gaoqiao Town of Shaxian County were investigated and analyzed. Results showed that, in component of farm owner, farmers accounted for 100%, with majority of young farmers received secondary education; in running scale of family farm, the majority was 6.67-33.33 hm with averaged 8.67 hm; after the establishment of family farm, household income, per labor income per capita and the agricultural product commodity rate increased significantly.
