Abstract: Four newly-bred sweet corn varieties introduced from Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences were comparatively tested in Seed Multiplication Farm of Zhangping with “Yuetian 16” as control. The results showed that “Yuetian 27” and “Yuetian 31” showed good quality, high yield, resistant to southern leaf blight, northern leaf blight and rust disease, good fresh fruit appearance, regular-arranging corn grains with nice coloration, fresh and good taste, which were suitable for popular application in local.
