Abstract: A comparison test of 17 new introduced conventional early rice varieties was carried out in 2014 in Tazhuang Town Minqin County. The results showed that “Quanzhen No.12”, “Zhongzao 39” and “Xiangzao 143” performed better and occupied top 3 higher of yield, the yield increased than “Jiafuzhan” (CK) by 18.69%, 14.54% and 4.62%, respectively. These three varieties showed suitable growth period, good plant and leaf type, coloring in ripening stage, high yield and high resistance. So, they could be recommended to be used in production.
