Abstract:
An efficacy trial of complex formulation of
Conyza canadesis essential oil and 8 pesticides on
Plutella xylostella larvae was carried out in field in order to reduce abuse and residues of pesticides in vegetables. The results showed that complex formulations consist of 5 g 30% indoxacarb and 2 mL essential oil of
Conyza canadesis, and 30 g 20% tebufenozideand and 10 mL essential oil of
Conyza canadesis were better with rapid action and persistent controlling efficacy, which was 70.98% and 75.13%, respectively after treated for 1 d, and 80.55% and 84.94% after treated for 3-7 d. Effects of complex formulation of 8 mL 200 g/L Chlorantraniliprole and 2 mL essential oil of
Conyza canadesis on
Plutella xylostella was not quick action but persistent, the control efficacy of which was only 63.95% after treated for 1 d, but reached 83.29% after treated for 7 d. Therefore, the above three complex formulations were recommended to be applied alternately when considering the resistance of vegetable pests.
