Abstract:
In order to enrich the variety diversity of strawberry in Fujian Province and accelerate the introduction and extension of new varieties and meet consumer demand, the phenological phase, agronomic traits, fruit appearance and quality of 15 introductive strawberry varieties at home and abroad were observed and measured, and a comparative study was carried out. The test results showed that, 3 new introductive varieties, ‘Zimei No.1’‘Zimei No.2’ and ‘Hong bao’ showed good comprehensive characters in field, ‘Zimei No.1’ and ‘Zimei No.2’ had the characters of high growth potential, strong resistance, long harvesting period, high yield, high hardness and suitable to transportation and storage, etc. The fruit flavor is similar to that of CK ‘Flange’ and it was suitable to be popularized and applied in small arched shed in Fujian by semi forcing cultivation and open field cultivation.
