Abstract: Qiantan Village, Wan'an Town and Longyuan Village in Jiangle County were chosen to carry out the introduction test of Lagerstroemia, and 4 factors of temperature, rainfall, sunshine and day number of limit temperature as the comparison factor, and the method of similarity analysis with the climate of Shuyang County of Jiangsu Province, the native area of Lagerstroemia, were adopted to establish the growth climate index of Lagerstroemia and divide the suitable area for its cultivation. The results showed that the Lagerstroemia was mainly suitable for planting in the mountainous area at an altitude ranges within 200-1 000 m, which was most suitable to be planted at an altitude of 400-700 m, and the next adaptation area was mainly distributed in the warm valley basin climate area under the elevation of 200 m and the high altitudes of the small part of the 1 000-1 300 m, and the unsuitable areas were mainly in the mountainous area at an altitude of over 1 300 m.
