Abstract: Rice cv. ‘Zhongjiazao 17’ is a new conventional early rice cultivar specialized in super rice and has advantages including high yield, resistance to diseases, and good feasibility of processing and mechanical transplanting. The accumulative extended areas were 800 hm² in Fuding City from 2011 to 2017. This paper summarized its yield performance, main characteristics, dynamic changes of growth and development by mechanical transplanting, seedling-nursing techniques for mechanical transplanting and high yield cultivation techniques in field-culturing period.
