Abstract:
Through dynamic monitoring and analysis on vegetable production and price information collected from 10 vegetable production information monitoring and collection points in Jian’ou City, some suggestions for vegetable production were put forward: The Chinese cabbage should be sown at the end of September, harvested from December to the following January and February, and the suitable variety included ‘Xia Shuai’ and ‘Shandong cabbage’; The cauliflower should be sown during July to August, harvested during September to February of next year, and the variety could choose ‘Baiyu 65’ and ‘Baiyu 80’; The cucumber could be planted from the end of January to February, harvested from April to June, and the prior varieties included ‘Jinyan No.4’, ‘Jinyou No.48’ and ‘Zhongnong No.37’; The cowpea need to be sown in January to February, harvested from April to May, and the species could be ‘Longxiangqijian’ and ‘Suzhouqing’; The pepper can be planted during later October to early November, harvested in early April to early July, and the species can be ‘Xinhongfa No.5’ and ‘Zhenyan No.9’; The eggplant need to be sown at the end of October to the beginning of November; harvested from April to September, and the varieties can choose ‘Minqie No.2’, ‘Minqie No.3’, ‘Minqie No.5’, etc. The beans can be sown from February to March, harvested from April to July, and the varieties can be selected from local beans (i.e. green beans).
