Abstract:
In order to evaluate the differences of cadmium accumulation in rice grain in different Varieties with health risks to the human body, on the basis of the risk assessment of cadmium pollution in rice grain in Fujian Province, 18 common rice varieties in local area were collected and the content of cadmium in rice was determined by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GF-AAS), and the rice variety with low cadmium content was screened and the health risk of cadmium intake from food rice was assessed through a probabilistic model. The results showed that the content of cadmium in rice grain was 0.001-0.989 mg· kg
-1, and about 8.09% of the samples were exceeded the standard value of food hygiene (0.2 mg·kg
-1) in China. The analysis of different type rice cultivras showed that the absorbability of cadmium in the hybrid rice was lower than that of the conventional rice. The cadmium content of three line hybrid rice was slightly higher than that of the two line hybrid rice. The cadmium content in rice varieties was also different, in which the varieties of ‘Hongyou 2155’, ‘78you 2155’, ‘Teyou 716’, ‘Zhongzhe you 1’ and ‘Hua Ⅱ you 3301’ were low-cadmium accumulative rice varieties, and the varieties of ‘Zhongzheyou 8’, ‘Yixiang 2292’, ‘Yixiang 673’, ‘Yongyou 9’ and ‘Yiyou 99’ were high cadmium-accumulative rice varieties. The results of risk assessment showed that the difference of cadmium content in different rice varieties could cause different effects of health risk.
