Abstract:
β-glucosidase is an important component of the cellulolytic enzyme system and has broad application prospects. Four β-glucosidase-producing strains were screened from bovine rumen, and the enzymatic activity of β-glucosidase was determined by 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid (DNS) method, seletcted a strain which had high β-glucosidase activity, and the molecular biology of strain was identified by 16SrDNA sequence analysis. The results showed that an obtained strain with enzyme activity of 6.589 U·mL
-1 was named TA1. This strain which was identified to be
Serratia liquefaciens. The research results have certain reference significance for the acquisition of microbial resources for producing β-glucosidase.
