Abstract:
In this study, 10 new sweet corn varieties were introduced and comparatively tested. The results showed that ‘Mintian6855’, ‘Mintian683’, ‘Jinguan218’ and ‘Yongzhen No.7’ showed high quality, high yield and better comprehensive characters. The yield of ‘Mintian6855’ was higher than that of ‘Yuetian16’ as control by 12.1%; the yield of ‘Mintian683’ was higher than that of control by 9.9%; the yield of ‘Jinguan218’ was higher than that of control by 9.2% and the yield of ‘Yongzhen No.7’ was higher than that of control by 7.3%. So it was suggested that these four varieties could be extended and demonstrated in a lager scale at local area.
