Abstract: A regional test of new middle-season rice varieties was carried out at Shangjing Town, Datian County, Fujian Province in 2017. Eleven middle-season rice varieties were introduced and compared with ‘Ⅱyou 3301’ as control. Their yield, characteristics of growth period, economic characters and agronomic characters were analyzed by statistics. The results showed that the yield of ‘Quanyou 212’ and ‘Quanyou 699’ were very significantly increased than that of the control. ‘Quanyou 212’ and ‘Quanyou 699’ had remarkable comprehensive characters, so they were suggested to make further extension of test and demonstration.
