Abstract:
Qingliu Seed Management Station in Fujian Province undertook a regional test of summer soybean varieties at tropical and subtropical area in China, in which seven summer soybean varieties from tropical and subtropical area were introduced and compared. The results showed that ‘Huaxia No.2’ had characteristics of early maturity, high lodging resistance and average yield of 3 343.5 kg·hm
-2, which was very significantly higher than the control ‘Huaxia No.9’ and ‘Huaxia No.2’ by 21.01% and 27.30%, respectively. ‘Guixia No.7’ had characteristics of moderate maturity period and high lodging resistance and averaged yield of 2 844.0 kg·hm
-2, which was higher than that of the control ‘Huaxia No.9’ and ‘Huaxia No.3’ by 2.91% and 8.26%, respectively without significant level. ‘Huaxia No.14’ had characteristics of early maturity and good lodging resistance. The average yield of ‘Huaxia No.14’ was of 2 806.5 kg·hm
-2, which was higher than the control ‘Huaxia No.9’ and ‘Huaxia No.3’ by 1.59% and 6.86%, respectively without significant level. By comprehensive analysis of their growth period, yield, commodity character (grain size) and plant height, so we suggested that ‘Guixia No.7’ could be used in production experiment; ‘Huaxia No.2’ and ‘Huaxia No.14’ should continue to be in regional test and the test of ‘Gui 1306’ and ‘Guixiadou 109’ should be halt.
