Abstract: Cordyceps militaris has a variety of medicinal properties, as well as important economic value, and its artificial culture has been industrialized. It has been intensively studied as a general entomopathogenic fungus with medical and edible value. This article summarized the research progress of cordyceps militaris from the selection of strains, artificial cultivation techniques, degradation and rejuvenation of strains, chemical composition and their pharmacological effects, and processing techniques, providing ideas for the in-depth research and industrialization of cordyceps militaris.
