Abstract: Yinzhen 2, a new luffa variety with bitter gourd stock, was bred from L2008-S4-3 as female parent and L2006-S4-1 as male parent. It has developed root system, strong moisture tolerance, good compatibility with bitter gourd grafting cultivation, high seedling rate and strong resistance to Fusarium wilt, comparing with local luffa stock, Yinzhen 2 increased its yield by 16.1%, and had no obvious effect on the quality of bitter gourd, so it was suitable for popularization and use as an excellent stock of bitter gourd. This paper summarized the breeding process and grafting performance of Yinzhen 2.
