Abstract:
Using potatoes as experimental materials, four varieties (Helan 14, Minshu 1, Xingjia 2, Qingshu 9) and four coverings (black agricultural film, silver-gray agricultural film, white agricultural film, dry straw) were designed by two-factor experiment with randomized block design. The effects of different coverings on the yield of different varieties were studied, and selected the suitable mulching cultivation model for different varieties. The results showed that the yield of Qingshu 9 covering with dry straw was the highest, followed by Minshu 1 covering with silver-gray agricultural film and Minshu 1 covering with dry straw. There was no significant difference among the yields of three treatments, but all were significantly higher than those of other treatments. The suitable coverings for different potato varieties were different, Helan 14 was silver-gray agricultural film and dry straw, Qingshu 9 was dry straw, Xingjia 2 was black agricultural film, Minshu 1 was silver-gray agricultural film and dry straw.
