Abstract:
One of the key factors in artificial cultivation of Cordyceps sinensis is to obtain a large number of insect source. In order to improve the fecundity of female insects, the effect of environmental space, environmental humidity, emasculation, addition of host plant and light treatment on the fecundity and oviposition rate of female ghost moth were analyzed. The results showed that the number of effective eggs could be increased by longitudinal space, increasing humidity, adding host plants or darkness treatment, and the oviposition rate of adult ghost moth could be increased to (84.81±1.81)% and (94.54±1.83)% by increasing humidity or host plants. The addition of host plants could effectively reduce the number of residual eggs. Weak light treatment was not conducive to the spawning of adults. In summary, suitable humidity, addition of host plants or dark treatment were conducive to the reproductive activities of adult ghost moth, and could effectively improve their fecundity, thus providing a guarantee for obtaining a large number of insect sources.
