Abstract:
In order to explore the most suitable application amount of magnesium fertilizer for cucumber planting, the effects of different amounts of magnesium sulfate fertilizer on the economic characters and yields of cucumber were studied. Four different amounts of magnesium sulfate fertilizer, namely 0(CK), 187.5, 375 and 600 kg·hm
-2, were set as the treatments in the experiment. The results showed that the yield and finished product ratio of cucumber treated with magnesium sulfate fertilizer of 375 kg·hm
-2 were the highest. Compared with the control group, the yield increased by 4397 kg·hm
-2 with an extremely significant difference and the finished product ratio increased by 8.17%. The length, diameter and weight of fruit respectively increased by 13.77%, 13.5% and 10.47% compared with the control group, showing good performance in economic characters.
