Abstract:
In 2015, the variety of Huate kiwifruit was introduced and planted in Shouning County from Taishuan of Zhejiang. The average weight of single fruit was 78.4 g, the yield per 667 m
2 in the rich phase was up to 1 500 kg, and the content of soluble solid was 15.6% when mature, with palatable sourness and sweetness, good quality, strong growth potential, wide adaptability, strong stress resistance, and good performance of fructification. After many years of cultivation experiments, the botanical and biological characteristics of Huate kiwifruit and the key cultivation techniques including soil management, topdressing technology, water management, shaping and pruning, flower and fruit management were summarized, in order to provide references for the cultivation of Huate kiwifruit in the middle and high elevation mountainous area.
