Abstract:
The root rot of
Gerbera jamesonii was a fungal soil-borne disease which was difficult to control and a serious hazard in Gerbera production. In order to control root rot of
Gerbera jamesonii, the bacteriostatic effect of
Bacillus subtilis Bv17 on root rot of
Gerbera jamesonii was measured by cylinder plate method, and the indoor pot experiment of
Bacillus subtilis Bv17 on the control of root rot of
Gerbera jamesonii was carried out. The results showed that the bacterial solution of
Bacillus subtilis Bv17 had a good inhibitory effect on two pathogens of
Phgtophtnora Cryptogea and
Fusarium solani. In the indoor pot experiment, different concentrations of
Bacillus subtilis Bv17 could significantly reduce the disease index of root rot of
Gerbera jamesonii, which had a good control effect. The relative control effect of
Bacillus subtilis Bv17 on root rot of
Gerbera jamesonii was more than 70% in the range of test concentration, and the control effect was the best when the concentration was 5×10
7 cfu·mL
-1, the disease index was 2.50, and the relative control effect was as high as 97.32%.
