Abstract: In order to fully exploit the advantages of traditional species resources and fully understand the composition and distribution of local crop resources in Pingnan County, the germplasm resources of crops in Pingnan County were investigated and analyzed by means of visiting and field investigation. The results showed that a total of 123 local species and wild germplasm resources were collected in Pingnan County were collected, among which, there were 17 species of food crops in 5 genera of 2 families; 55 species of vegetables in 29 genera of 13 families; 43 species of fruit trees in 12 genera of 9 families; 6 species of cash crops in 4 genera of 4 families; 2 species of forage grass and green fertilizer in 2 genera of 1 family, a total of 123 species in 51 genera of 27 families. There were 2 species of resources below 600 m, 45 species of resources between 600-800 m, 63 species of resources between 800-1 000 m, and 13 species of resources above 1 000 m. Based on the survey results of crop germplasm resources in Pingnan County, the protection, development and utilization of crop germplasm resources in Pingnan County were then discussed.
