Abstract: The inspection of assets is the foundation of strengthening the asset management. Through the inspection of assets, the family property accumulated over a long time was sorted out, and the comprehensive and accurate understanding on the current situation and the existing problems of asset management in the work units was obtained, thus to find out the ways to solve the problems. Combined with the practice of the inspection of assets, the general problems of the state-owned asset management existed in the agricultural scientific research institutions in the new period and new normal were expounded, and the measures and suggestions for strengthening the asset management were put forward.
