Abstract:
According to the diversification of the demand for fine peanut varieties in Fujian Province, the new varieties of pearl type of peanut with disease resistance, high yield, stable yield and wide adaptability were bred. Minhua No.11 was a new peanut variety with high oil, high protein and high yield, which was bred by Oil Research Institute of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University with Yueyou No.7 as the female parent and Yuhua 15 as the male parent after many generations. The average pod yield of this variety was 3 856.05 kg·hm
-2 in Fujian Province, which was 9.78% higher than that of the control group Quanhua No.7. The seed kernel yield was 2 614.2 kg·hm
-2, which was 6.77% higher than that of the control group. The oil content of Minhua No.11 was 50.27%, the protein content was 29.90%, the oleic acid content was 43.7%, the ratio of oleic acid to linoleic acid was 1.26, and it had high resistance to rust, moderate resistance to leaf spot and bacterial wilt, high drought resistance, flood resistance and lodging resistance. This variety was highly resistant to rust disease, moderately resistant to leaf spot and bacterial wilt diseases. Minhua No.11 passed the national non-major crop varieties registration in July 2020, and the registration number was GPD peanut (2020) 350055.
