Abstract:
Based on the survey data of 157 farmers in the three main producing counties (cities) of pecan in Zhejiang Province, the impact of the technology adoption behavior of different operators on the output of pecan were empirically analyzed by using the C-D production function model. The results showed that there were significant differences between the new business entities and the ordinary farmers in the number of technology adoption and the adoption situation of single technology. The adoption of technology by the new business entities was more common and the use effect was better than that of the ordinary farmers. For each technology added by the management households, the new business entities produced 1.8% more pecans than the ordinary farmers. By adopting the soil testing formula technology, the new business entities produced 4.72% more pecans than the ordinary farmers, while by adopting the integrated control techniques, the new business entities produced 7.7% more pecans than the ordinary farmers. Based on this, it was suggested that the government should persist in cultivating the new business entities, strengthen the technical publicity and guidance, increase the special fund subsidies for technical popularization, and speed up the infrastructure construction in the forest areas.
