Abstract:
In order to improve the strongly acidic soil in pomelo orchard of Pinghe County, the soil conditioner experiment was carried out to study the effects of different application amounts of soil conditioner on the amelioration of strongly acidic soil in pomelo orchard, and the yield and quality of pomelo, and also the appropriate application amount of soil conditioner was clarified, in order to provide theoretical basis and reference for the soil improvement and rational fertilization of pomelo orchard in Pinghe County. The results showed that the application of soil conditioner could increase the soil pH by 2.27%-29.55%, decrease the soil exchangeable acid by 15.8%-79.8%, increase the soil exchangeable base in different degrees, and significantly reduce the contents of effective chrome and effective mercury (
P<0.05). When the soil conditioner was applied at 3 000kg·hm
-2, the vitamin C content of pomelo fruit could be significantly increased by 24.86%, and the titratable acid content could be significantly decreased by 14.24%, so the quality of pomelo fruit would be improved. Meanwhile, the edible rate and yield of pomelo were significantly increased by 2.84% and 5.30%, respectively (
P<0.05). Therefore, it was the economic application amount for the amelioration of strongly acidic soil in pomelo orchard.
