Abstract:
In order to understand the diversity and distribution characteristics of the endophytic
Bacillus in Perillafrutescens, the endophytic
Bacillus in Perillafrutescens were isolated by using the culturable method, and then identified by 16S rRNA gene sequence homology, and analyzed by using the diversity index and systematic clustering. The results showed that a total of 19 strains of endophytic
Bacillus were isolated from the roots, stems and leaves of
Perillafrutescens, which belonged to 4 genera and 11 species of the family Bacillaceae. The diversity analysis showed that the diversity index (1.7987) and the richness (2.5022) of the endophytic Bacillus in the roots of
Perillafrutescens were higher than those in the stems and leaves. The further studies on the distribution properties of Bacillus in plants showed that, four species of endophytic Bacillus co-existed in different tissues of
Perillafrutescens, among which
Fictibacillus barbaricus existed in both the roots and stems. Priestia aryabhattai existed in both the roots and leaves, and
Bacillus safensis and
Bacillus cereus were found in both the leaves and stems, while the remaining seven species of Bacillus were found only in the single tissue of
Perillafrutescens.
