Abstract:
In order to screen the new combinations of cauliflower suitable for being planted in different altitude regions of Fuzhou, the comparative experiment was carried out on the botanical characters, disease resistance and yield of 15 new combinations of cauliflower with the 65th day of Qingnong as the control group. The results showed that: the new combinations of cauliflowers (HC2164 and HC2140) were suitable for being planted in the low altitude areas of Fuzhou. They had strong growth, round bouquets with yellow and white color, good commercial characters, high resistance to downy mildew and black rot disease, and a mild occurrence of soft rot. Their yields increased by 19.9% and 18.5%, respectively compared to the 65th day of Qingnong. In addition, the new combinations of cauliflowers (HC2164 and HC2154) were found to be suitable for being planted in the high altitude areas of Fuzhou. These combinations exhibited strong growth, round bouquets with cream-white or pale yellow color, superior commercial performance, high resistance to downy mildew disease and black rot disease, and a milder occurrence of soft rot. And their yields were 24.4% and 16.0% higher than that of the 65th day of Qingnong.
