Abstract:
In view of the problem that the diseases occurred seriously in root tubers of
Pseudostellaria radix, the root tuber samples of
Pseudostellaria radix under different growth environments in three towns of Zherong County, Fujian Province were collected during the harvest period, and the occurrence characteristics of the main diseases in root tubers of
Pseudostellaria radix were investigated. The results showed that the diseases in root tubers of
Pseudostellaria radix in the collected fields were serious during the harvest period, with the incidence rate of 3.84%-42.74%, and the main diseases were root rot, purple root rot and sour rot disease. The root rot disease was the main disease in root tubers of
Pseudostellaria radix in Chengjiao Township and Chuping Township, with an incidence rate of 1.92%-25.22%, accounting for 28.76%-100% of the disease incidence in root tubers. The purple root rot disease only occurred in the planting area of Fuxi Township, with an incidence rate of 0-22.18%, accounting for 0-78.72% of the disease incidence in root tubers. The sour rot disease mainly occurred in the late stage of harvest, with the incidence rate of 0-6.38%, accounting for 0-30.13% of the disease incidence in root tubers. The incidence rate of three diseases in
Pseudostellaria radix at the same harvest period in the same township was higher in paddy fields than that in mountainous area. The occurrence characteristics of the main diseases in root tubers of
Pseudostellaria radix were closely related to the properties of fields. The results of this study could provide theoretical basis for promoting the abundant harvest and impairment of
Pseudostellaria radix.
