Abstract: Fuyuxiangzhan was a new variety of late indica conventional rice with high quality and aroma type, which was bred by the hybridization of Xiangyaxiangzhan and Yumeizhan after many years and multiple generations of pedigree selection. The variety had the characteristics of good plant type, high and stable yield, rich flavor, and beautiful color change in the later period, and the rice quality has been awarded the second heads rice standard issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, and it has been approved by the National Crop Variety Certification Committee in 2021 (National Certification Rice 20210354). The breeding process, characteristics and high-yielding cultivation techniques of Fuyuxiangzhan were introduced in order to provide theoretical reference for the popularization and application of this variety.
