Abstract:
In order to screen the economical, efficient, and applicable magnesium fertilizer, and achieve the goal of stable yield, income increase and green sustainability of rice, a field experiment was conducted in Caixi Town of Shanghang County in 2021 in this study, thus to examine the effect of different Mg fertilizer types on the rice yield and soil environment of paddy field. The effects of four treatments on rice yield, soil pH and exchangeable magnesium were analyzed by setting up the four treatments: control, magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, agricultural magnesium hydroxide and calcium magnesium complexins. The results showed that the application of different varieties of magnesium fertilizer could increase the rice yield by 252−645 kg·hm
−2, with an increase of 3.0%−7.8%. In addition, the soil pH value increased by 0.18−0.29, and the exchangeable magnesium increased by 0.09−0.11 cmol·kg
−1. In general, the application of agricultural magnesium hydroxide in the paddy fields in Shanghang County had the best effect, with the highest rice yield of 8 965.5 kg·hm
−2, representing a 7.8% increase compared to the CK, and resulting in an additional income of 1 888.8 yuan·hm
−2. Furthermore, the paddy soil pH increased by 0.24 and the exchangeable magnesium in soil increased by 0.1 cmol·kg
−1, which deserved the further demonstration, promotion and application in the local area.
