Abstract:
The integrated rice-
Azolla imbircata cropping is a traditional rice cultivation way in China, which can improve the rice yield and nitrogen use efficiency. However, few studies have focused on the effect of integrated rice-
Azolla imbircata cropping on the phosphorus fertilizer use efficiency in rice. A field experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of the treatment of integrated rice-
Azolla imbircata cropping on the soil physical and chemical properties in paddy field, rice yield and the utilization efficiency of phosphorus fertilizer. The results showed that the treatment of integrated rice-
Azolla imbircata cropping did not significantly change the contents of soil organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and available phosphorus, but significantly increased the content of nitrate nitrogen in soil (
P<0.05). The integrated rice-
Azolla imbircata cropping promoted the acquisition of phosphorus in rice, significantly increased the phosphorus uptake in grain (
P<0.05) and the total phosphorus uptake in the aboveground part (
P<0.05). In addition, the integrated rice-
Azolla imbircata cropping also improved the recovery and utilization rate of phosphate fertilizer in rice (
P<0.05), indicating that the treatment of integrated rice-
Azolla imbircata cropping could effectively improve the utilization efficiency of phosphate fertilizer in rice, which provided a reference way for the efficient utilization of phosphate fertilizer in rice.
