Abstract: In order to screen out the high-quality varieties suitable for being as the post-tobacco rice with machine transplanting in Ninghua County, 12 new hybrid rice varieties with the rice quality reaching the second level and above of the agricultural industry standard were introduced in 2022, and the screening test of high-quality varieties suitable for being as the post-tobacco rice with machine transplanting was carried out in Quanzheng Village, Quanshang Town, Ninghua County, Fujian Province. The results showed that: the four varieties of Changliangyou Fuxiangzhan, Quanyou 607, Weiliangyou Fuxiangzhan and Zhenliangyou Yuzhan had excellent field performance, good yield and strong stress resistance, which could be used as the varieties of post-tobacco rice with machine transplanting to further expand the demonstration application in this area. The population of Weiliangyou 7713 had good field performance, with high yield, strong disease resistance and drought-heat resistance, and had the resistance to rice planthoppers. However, the lodging resistance of this variety was general, so it could be planted in the fields where lodging was not easy to occur, so as to play its role in reducing the medication and increasing the yield and efficiency. Yuxiang Liangyou Fuxiangzhan had good comprehensive performance, with good rice quality, fragrance and high head milled rice rate. It could be used as a selected variety for the grain management entities to create the brands. Through the moderate scale cultivation, separate harvesting, drying, storage and processing, the high quality and good price of the variety could be achieved. The two varieties such as Q Liangyou 1606 and Tailiangyou 5187 could be used as the reserve varieties of post-tobacco rice for machine transplanting.
