Abstract:
The establishment of the comprehensive evaluation system for the potted
Curcuma alismatifolia varieties could provide a basis for screening excellent varieties which were suitable for the large-scale facility cultivation. The main quality characteristics of 20 germplasms of
Curcuma alismatifolia were observed and counted through the pot experiment. The comprehensive evaluation system of potted
Curcuma alismatifolia germplasm resources was established from the three aspects of ornamental value, resource value and adaptability by using the analytical hierarchy process and fuzzy analysis method. The results showed that the index values of 18 evaluation factors for the potted
Curcuma alismatifolia germplasm resources were determined, among which, the rarity of germplasm, flowering viewing period, bract color and the relationship between bract and leaf position accounted for a large proportion, with the weights of 0.1820, 0.1467, 0.1178 and 0.0893, respectively. The cluster analysis was carried out according to the comprehensive evaluation score, and 20 germplasms of
Curcuma alismatifolia could be divided into four grades: excellent, good, general and poor. Finally, six varieties, such as Xiaoxuanfeng, Yingtao gongzhu, Jingying, Helanhong, Hongyun and Lvse qiaokeli, were selected, which could be used as the recommended potted varieties with priority for the industrial application. The comprehensive evaluation results were consistent with the actual production, which indicated that the evaluation system could screen and grade the varieties of potted
Curcuma alismatifolia well.
