Abstract:
Weeds are very harmful to agricultural production, and the long-term use of chemical herbicides has brought many problems, which has prompted the urgent need for the development of new environmentally friendly and efficient herbicides. The herbicides derived from plant pathogenic fungi are biological herbicides developed by using the living fungi or their metabolites, which have the advantages of abundant resources, low toxicity and low environmental pollution. They have become an important resource for the development of new type of herbicides. In this paper, the types of plant pathogenic fungi and their metabolites with herbicidal activity were summarized. The weed control mechanism and application status of plant pathogenic fungi were reviewed, and the development of herbicides derived from plant pathogenic fungi in the future was prospected.
