Abstract:
In order to clarify the effect of mycorrhizal fungi on the growth and development of
Hibiscus esculentus, the
Hibiscus esculentus was sown in the cultivation substrate with 30 L German Amykor mycorrhizal agent under the pot conditions. Then, with no application of mycorrhizal agent as the control group, the indexes of plant growth and fruit development of
Hibiscus esculentus were measured, and the effects of mycorrhizal agent on the plant growth and fruit development of
Hibiscus esculentus were analyzed. The results showed that: compared with the control group, the plant height, distance between leaves, leaf area, fresh weight of the above-ground part and underground part of
Hibiscus esculentus treated with 30 mL of mycorrhizal agent were increased, but the relative contents of chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b in leaves were not affected. After the growth for 2-3 months, the flowering and fruiting of
Hibiscus esculentus applied with 30 mL mycorrhizal agent were earlier than that without the application of mycorrhizal agent, and the single fruit weight and single fruit length increased. The study showed that the mycorrhizal agents could promote the growth and fruit development of potted
Hibiscus esculentus, which could provide reference for the application of mycorrhizal agents in the sowing and seedling of
Hibiscus esculentus and its field cultivation.
