Abstract:
In order to comprehensively and systematically display the overall context, the evolution of research hotspots, and the frontier trends in the research field of family farms in Fujian Province, it aimed to provide reference and inspiration for the scholars interested in this field to carry out the follow-up research and for the government departments to formulate the relevant policies. Based on the perspective of bibliometrics, the LDA topic model was used to conduct the topic mining and trend prediction analysis on 525 Chinese literatures in the research field of family farm in Fujian Province from 1982 to 2024. The results showed that: the research on family farms in Fujian Province has gone through three stages: the initial period (1982−2010) which focused on agricultural social security and basic services; the growth period (2011−2014) which focused on land transfer and policy support; and the mature period (2015−2024) which focused on deepening the research on the role of modern agricultural technology and cooperatives. The agriculture and forestry universities in Fujian were the main force of scientific research in this direction, but the interdisciplinary cooperation was insufficient. The research topics mainly focused on the four core areas: agricultural socialized services and land transfer, new agricultural business entities and agricultural modernization, intensive management and cooperatives, development issues and countermeasures. The research pointed out that land transfer, the socialized service system, modern agricultural technologies, business models, and policy and institutional support would still be the research hotspots in the field of family farms.
