Abstract:
In order to improve the germination ability of Annona atemoya seeds and solve the problems of low germination rate, slow germination and non-concentration, fine sand was used as the substrate, and the water content of the substrate was set at 5%, 7.5%, 10% and 12.5%, and the seeds were soaked with different chemicals(gibberellin 100 mg/L, 200 mg·L
−1; Rooting powder 100 mg·L
−1, 200 mg·L
−1; 1% and 2% of sodium nitrate; 0.5% and 1% of sodium hydroxide; Oxalic acid 1%, 2%; 1% and 2% of hydrogen peroxide; Thiourea 1%, 2%), the germination rate, germination potential, germination index and other indicators were determined to explore the effects of different treatments on the germination of Annona atemoya seeds. It was found that the treatments with 5% and 7.5% of substrate water content had higher germination rate and germination index, which was more beneficial to the germination of Annona atemoya seeds. The germination potential of seeds with 7.5% of substrate water content was significantly greater than that with 5% of substrate water content, and the germination duration was significantly shorter than that with 5% of substrate water content, with neat germination and reduced germination duration by 52.63%. Among the seed soaking treatments with different kinds and concentrations of chemicals, 1% thiourea seed soaking treatment has the highest germination rate, germination potential and germination index, which are 79.36%, 63.49% and 0.67 seeds /d, which is most beneficial to the seed germination of Annona atemoya, and the germination duration is shorter than that of the control. The results showed that soaking seeds with 1% thiourea for 24 hours and using fine sand with water content of 7.5% as substrate were beneficial to improve the germination ability of Annona atemoya seeds.
