Abstract: In order to select new high-yield and high-quality middle hybrid rice varieties suitable for cultivation in Minhou County, Fujian Province, the important characteristics of rice varieties such as high yield, stability, adaptability, resistance and rice quality were investigated. In 2024, the seed Service Center of Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Minhou County introduced three high-quality hybrid rice varieties from Fujian Toyota seed Industry and Ningbo seed Industry of Zhejiang Province. Compared with he Liangyou 676 of Fujian Hefeng seed Industry, a regional comparison experiment was conducted in Yangli Township, Minhou County, Fujian Province, to compare and analyze the growth period, yield, resistance and rice quality of each variety. The results showed that the yield of Yongyou 59 was the highest, which was 11400kg·hm², which was 12.1% higher than that of the control he Liangyou 676, and its comprehensive characters were more outstanding, so it was suitable for medium rice cultivation in Minhou county and could be further expanded. The yield of Yongyou 8815 and Yongyou 6756 was 10 470kg·hm²and 10 248kg·hm², ranking second and third, which increased by 2.9% and 0.7% compared with the control he Liangyou 676, and had good comprehensive characters, so it was more suitable to be cultivated as medium rice in Minhou county.
