Abstract:
In order to explore the effects of reducing chemical fertilizers and applying bio organic fertilizers on the yield, quality, and soil enzyme activity of water spinach, field experiments were conducted with four fertilization treatments(T1: 20% reduction in chemical fertilizers+bio organic fertilizers, T2: 20% reduction in chemical fertilizers+organic fertilizers without added functional bacteria, CK1: single application of chemical fertilizers, CK2: no fertilization)to analyze the effects of different treatments on the growth, yield, quality, and soil enzyme activity of water spinach. The results showed that the T1 treatment group had the best plant height, root length, leaf length, leaf width, yield, quality, and soil enzyme activity for water spinach. Among them, the yield of T1 increased by 12.6% compared to CK1; The quality(Vc content, soluble sugar, soluble protein)increased by 27.4%, 25.0%, and 19.0%, respectively, while the nitrate content decreased by 31.0%; The soil enzyme activities(alkaline phosphatase activity, catalase, urease, sucrase, protease)increased by 17.79%, 22.61%, 19.26%, 35.43%, and 42.98%, respectively, with significant differences observed. The results indicate that a 20% reduction in chemical fertilizers combined with the application of bio organic fertilizers can effectively improve the yield, quality, and soil enzyme activity of water spinach.
