Abstract:
A 30-day feeding test was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation with 0.05% Weizmannia coagulans on growth performance, intestinal health and immune function in juvenile
Micropterus salmoides. body weight(1.05±0.05)g
, while the control group was not added. The results demonstrated that Weizmannia coagulans significantly enhanced(
P<0.01)the weight gain rate(WGR)and specific growth rate(SGR), while the feed conversion ratio(FCR)was significantly reduced(
P<0.01). Histological analysis revealed significantly increased villus height and muscularis thickness in the intestine, along with reduced hepatic vacuolar lesions in the WC group. Furthermore, Weizmannia coagulans markedly elevated intestinal alkaline phosphatase(AKP)and acid phosphatase(ACP)activities(
P<0.01), while hepatic catalase(CAT)and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)activity were significantly enhanced(
P<0.05). This study confirms that Weizmannia coagulans significantly improves the growth performance and health status of juvenile
Micropterus salmoides by promoting digestive enzyme secretion, improving intestinal morphology and strengthening the antioxidant defense system, providing a scientific basis for its application in aquaculture.
