种子引发剂对澳洲狐尾种子萌发及幼苗生长的影响

    Effect of Seed Priming Agents on Seeds Germination and Seedlings Quality of Ptilotus

    • 摘要: 为解决澳洲狐尾种子萌发整齐度差,穴盘苗品质不佳及大小苗分化等问题,探索了单一引发剂KCl(0.50%、0.75%、1%)、KNO3(0.50%、0.75%、1%)、PEG-6000(5%、10%、15%)和GA3(100、200、300 mg·L−1)对澳洲狐尾品种子萌发的影响;复配引发剂(PEG-6000 + KNO3)不同浓度组合对澳洲狐尾种子萌发的影响;筛选的复配引发剂对不同澳洲狐尾品种种子萌发及幼苗株高、冠幅等表型指标的影响。 结果表明:单一引发剂10% PEG-6000 或0.75% KNO3处理幼兽的种子萌发综合效果最好;复配引发剂10% PEG-6000 +0.75% KNO3处理显著优于单一引发剂和对照处理,综合萌发效果最好,发芽率和发芽势分别为96.13%、88.90%,较对照处理分别提高9.15%、28.04%;此复配引发剂处理不同品种玛蒂尔达和幼兽,既能提高种子发芽率和发芽势,还可显著提升幼苗品质。研究结果筛选的复配引发剂可为改善澳洲狐尾种子萌发及幼苗培育质量提供技术支撑。

       

      Abstract: To address the issue of the poor germination uniformity, low plug-seedling quality and poor seedling size uniformity of P. exaltatus the effects of single priming agents, namely KCl(0.50%, 0.75%, 1%), KNO3(0.50%, 0.75%, 1%), PEG-6000(5%, 10%, 15%), and GA3(100, 200, 300 mg·L1)on seed germination were evaluated. Subsequently, different combinations of a composite priming agent(PEG-6000 + KNO3)were examined, and the selected composite was tested on different P. exaltatus cultivars for germination performance and seedling quality traits such as plant height and crown width. The results showed that among the single priming treatments, 10% PEG-6000 or 0.75% KNO3 produced the best overall germination performance for the cultivar Joey. The composite priming treatment 10% PEG-6000 + 0.75% KNO3 was significantly superior to all single-agent and control treatments, achieving the highest germination rate(96.13%)and germination potential(88.90%), increases of 9.15% and 28.04% over the control, respectively. When this composite priming treatment was applied to two cultivars, Matilda and Joey, it not only improved germination rate and germination potential but also markedly enhanced seedling quality. The optimized composite priming agent identified in this study provides a practical tool for improving seed germination and plug-seedling production in P. Exaltatus.
