Abstract:
Liangyou 568 is a new two-line hybrid rice variety developed by Nanping Institute of Agricultural Sciences through the cross between the restoring line Nanhui 568 and the sterile line Jun S. It was approved by Fujian Crop Variety Approval Committee in 2022. Its average yield was 9271.1 kg·hm
−2 in the regional test of middle-season rice in Fujian Province in 2020−2021, and its average yield was 8772.0 kg·hm
−2 in the production test in 2021. From 2024 to 2025, it was planted as middle-season rice in Xinkou Village, Dongping Town, Zhenghe County. The average yield in two years was 9 618.8 kg·hm
−2, which was 5.8% higher than that of Zhongzheyou 8 (CK1). It was planted as post-tobacco rice in Xijin Village, Shitun Town, Zhenghe County. The average yield in two years was 9 276.8 kg·hm
−2, which was 6.6% higher than that of Yiyou 673 (CK2). From 2024 to 2025, it was planted as mid-season rice in Dongping Town and as post-tobacco rice in Shitun Town of Zhenghe County, respectively, showing suitable growth period, excellent agronomic traits, high quality and disease resistance. It was a high-quality rice variety suitable for being planted in Zhenghe County. The comprehensive planting performance and high-yielding cultivation techniques of Liangyou 568 in Zhenghe County in two years were summarized in this paper.
