Abstract: To screen high-quality rice varieties suitable for tobacco-rice rotation in Shaxian District, a variety exhibition and evaluation was conducted at the Shaxian National Crop Variety Exhibition and Evaluation Base in 2025. Taking Heliangyou Simiao as the control, a comprehensive analysis was carried out on the growth period, yield, stress resistance, and other traits of 30 high-quality rice varieties. The results showed that the top 10 varieties in terms of yield all achieved an increase. Chunchengyou 887 yielded 9810.0 kg·hm⁻², an increase of 9.92% compared to the control, ranking first among the tested varieties. It exhibited outstanding comprehensive traits and was suitable for the promotion of the local tobacco-rice rotation model. Yexiangyou 7008 and Yexiangyou Yazhen yielded 9495 and 9480 kg·hm⁻², ranking second and third, with increases of 6.39% and 6.22% compared to the control, respectively. The yields of the remaining seven varieties ranged from 9075.0 to 9315.0 kg·hm⁻², with an increase of 1.68% to 4.37%. The 10 varieties were suitable for the local production system in terms of maturity period and exhibited good comprehensive performance, making them suitable as alternative varieties for local promotion.
