Abstract: Existing problems in Ninghua characteristic industry-barley industry were pointed out based on the present status of barley industry in Ninghua county and the trend of modern industrial civilization. Proposals in four aspects, i.e. exploration of historic culture, research on industrial technology, brand construction and industrial extension, were put forward according to the existing problems in order to build barley industry culture and expand this local characteristics industry.
