Abstract: Agrometeorological disaster is more and more serious following with the increase of extreme weather events in China. Occurrence reason and characteristics for main agrometeorological disaster in Hui’an , such as drought, typhoon, rainstorm and flooding, strong wind, low temperature and continuous rain, were analyzed based on the observation and disaster data of Chongwu National Reference Climatological Station in 1954-2012 . The harms of the above agrometeorological disaster to agricultural production were also studied, and the defensive countermeasures were correspondingly proposed.
