Abstract:
Effects of different leaf positions and nitrogen fertilizer rates on chlorophyll content in leaves of Tieguanyin tea plants were studied in this paper. The results showed that along with the leaf growth, the chlorophyll contents in leaves at 2nd, 3rd leaf position, 5th, 6th leaf position and the two-years aged leaves increased. In addition, with the increase of nitrogen fertilizer, one-hundred-bud weight, budding density and tealeaves yield, as well as chlorophyll content also increased.
